National Security Language Initiative & Turkish

Foreign language skills are essential for engaging foreign governments and peoples, especially in critical world regions, and for promoting understanding, conveying respect for other cultures, and encouraging reform. These skills are also fundamental to the economic competitiveness and security interests of the Nation.

General Information about the Olympiad

turkisholympiad2009-logo.jpgThe 4th Statewide Turkish Olympiad – Texas Final organized by Raindrop Turkish House will be held at Hobby Center Sarofim Hall on April 3rd 2010.

Students from all over the state of Texas will compete in categories ranging from singing contests, poetry contests, talent contests, stand contests, writing contests, and folk dance competitions to cuisine and handmade contests.
