2nd Turkish Language Olympiad 2008
The 2nd Statewide Turkish Olympiad was held in Houston,Texas by the Raindrop Turkish House in which students competed in 17 categories, including speaking, grammar, singing, poetry, and folklore contests. Here you can find the coverage by media of this event:

"Luxury and fantasy reign, as the Sarofim’s gilded interiors invoke a gazebo under a starry, starry night. Sumptuous golden latticework wraps around the hall, while multi-storied, gold-leaf columns contrast with dramatic midnight blue walls. The crowning touch is above - the Joe and Lee Jamail Celestial Dome Ceiling, a breathtaking ellipse featuring twinkling fiber optic stars that replicate the Texas night sky." says the Hobby Center's web site.
